Save Our Green Belt
Parcel of nearly 100 acres has been applied for to build two huge warehouses on Green Belt land when their is brownfield and other sites available. We wish all who support our countryside to voice their objection.
We are 100% supported by the CPRE - Campaign to Protect Rural England. We are not getting support at local level for our objections.
There is a wall of silence from those that should be helping us.
The application is at "Florida Farm" Haydock, St Helens. Application
No The application P/2016/0608/HYBR

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The decision to develop these green belt areas appears to be one to be taken by your local council and not the UK Government.
Once an application is made for the development to take place, all local residents have the right to request that a planning application be ‘called in’ by the Department for Communities and Local Government. This means that it will assess the planning application against certain criteria and decide if a full inquiry is needed. For more information, including the criteria and how to request the call in of a planning application, see:
http://researchbriefings.files.parliament.uk/documents/SN00930/SN00930.pdf
If you want the UK Government or Parliament to take action, for example to amend the legislation and policy framework which governs planning and development decisions taken by local authorities, you could start a new petition specifically asking for that action, giving as your reasons the proposal to develop your green belt area and its likely effects.
