Petition Details

The owner of the cooperage, an 18th century building on the barbican in Plymouth, has submitted an application to tear it down and replace it with a block of 56 student flats.

Additional Information

The people of Plymouth believe that although this building is mock tudor it is important to our history and adds character to the overall atmosphere of the barbican. As the council to don't see fit to save it for us we must ask parliament to step in, to save our city from corrupt back door capitalism at the expense of our city.
