Enable ranking and searching of e-petitions by number of votes
This e-petition site at the moment makes it difficult to build support for any specific proposals because the search terms usually provide hundreds of possible similar petitions in no particular order. By enabling any search to be ranked by number of existing votes, the most popular petition in that category, if it meets the wishes of the searcher, will more quickly build greater support and receive parliamentary discussion. This site should enable searching and ranking of petitions by number of existing votes.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
It is already possible to rank e-petitions by signature by clicking on the 'signatures' column at any time.
