Pike gags are a spring device that is used to hold a fishes mouth open to allow for unhooking. They are ban in Scotland as they are a barbaric tool.

Lip grips are a mechanical device that hold fish by the bottom jaw bone with a clamp

Additional Information

Both pike gags and lip grips cause permenant damage to the jaw bone of pike and other boney mouth species
