Petition Action

Do not allow the culling of cats.

Petition Details

Domestic cats are now being considered to be culled because they may drive some garden species of birds extinct. This is unacceptable simply because it is the food chain. If a cat is seen outside, they will be killed on sight. This has to stop before it begins.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Government does not have any plans to cull cats. It is therefore not clear what action you would like the Government or Parliament to take.
