Petition Action

Declassify Files of Crimes Against Children (Past / Present) for Full Disclosure

Petition Details

All files (national / global) of crimes against children (past and present) to be declassified to allow full disclosure. There should no exclusions as such files are criminal evidence for legal recourse and judicial process. Otherwise conflict with immediacy of policy, laws and legislation.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government is not responsible for declassifying files outside the UK, so would not be able to take this action globally.

You could start a new petition calling on the Government to make these files public in the UK, and to work with the governments of other countries to encourage them to do the same with the files in their countries.
