Fight for nurses to get their pay increased to the rate of inflation
Get nursing wages increased to the level of inflation.
Wages are way below the national average of living costs and have not been increasing with inflation.
More and more cuts are being made to the NHS. Staff are being over worked and under paid.
We are at breaking point with our careers, we are unable to give the care we want due to low staffing levels, low moral and expected to do more and more as time goes on.
We do over time to keep up with the general cost of living as wages do not increase, but then the agencies are being stopped due to the cost to the nhs. We would not need to do this if we had the correct pay to begin with.
