Make it a legal requirement for food outlets to display food hygiene ratings
In the uk it is not a legal requirement for food outlets to display their food hygiene ratings.
Many people don't know that you can check online, many people assume the government wouldn't allow somewhere to be open if they received 0-1-2 stars.
But they are aloud to stay open.
Check out local places in your area.

All are still open.
Major improvements required
System or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building to enable good food hygiene.
