A cap on car insurance premiums for young drivers
Car insurance premiums are more expensive than the average affordable car.
According to Confused.com the average car insurance premium for 17 year olds stands at £2,013.
Young drivers earned the right just as much as 30, 40, 50, 60 year old to be on the roads.
Your age, gender, occupation, the car etc... are all unfairly quoted a steep figure to cover yourself legeally on the roads.
The 'Reported Road Accident Statistics' found in the House of Commons Library shows that 'Road casualties killed or seriously injured in 2012' on average, drivers aged under 17-19 were involved 118 times. Whereas, those aged between 25-29 were involved 167 times.
