The government to invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty before April 2017
The EU is changing its voting and decision making rules in April 2017. This means if Article 50 is not triggered prior to that we will need an EU consensus to leave. It is therefore vital to have the Article invoked prior to that date.
