Petition Details

Since 2008 the Bank of England has relentlessly cut interest rates causing savers to lose a considerable amount of income and this has now reached an unacceptable level. At the moment, the Government has limited power over interest rates.

Additional Information

This petition calls for greater Government powers of the Bank of England's interest rates, so that savers can be protected.
