Petition Action

I feel that the department for education should incorporate lessons on bullying.

Petition Details

Children are taking their own lives because we are not doing enough to educate them on the negative factors and effects of bullying. We also need to educate the bullies that it is wrong to bully others and will not be accepted. There should also be more support to find out why the person is bullying

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Department of Education already issue guidance to school about how to tackle and prevent bullying www.gov.uk/government/publications/preventing-and-tackling-bullying

However if you feel this is insufficient could start a new petition asking that information about bullying be taught as part of the national curriculum.
