Stop the plans, to use the hard shoulder on motorways, as an additional lane.
The plans to use the hard shoulder, on motorways, as an additional lane, is ill conceived and very dangerous. The hard shoulder is an EMERGENCY lane and should be kept as such. The emergency and breakdown services will not be able to help drivers in the event of an accident or breakdown.
I believe the emergency/breakdown services and motoring organisations, have already expressed their concern.
