We would like all mobile phones to be aloud out on the school premises.
Mobile phones are a necessity in the current day. How would a young child be able to be contacted or contact a family member in a time of need? They can't. We need our phones not to mess about in lesson but to use for family reasons and to be able to quickly get some knowledge on a specific topic.
A fellow student of mine had his father in a serious situation. His father was rushed to hospital as his appendix was going to burst. As you may know this is a serious issue. Due to the school's phone line being busy and the fact that mobile phones are not aloud, he was unable to be contacted by his father and the hospital. It resulted in his father going through serious pain alone for hours until he was out of school. There are various issues like this in our country and its a serious issue.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's up to individual schools to decide what rules to have about mobile phones in school.
