Government should stage a new cultural Festival of Britain
The Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games did much to tell the world what makes Britain Great. Let's have a cultural Festival of Britain in this post Brexit climate to demonstrate what an amazing nation this is and that we continue to welcome the world
Let's celebrate what makes this nation great in the ways that we did over 2012. Let's reach out and show the world what a vibrant and amazing country we live in, what we have to give to the world through culture and the wider creative sectors which lie at the heart of our thriving knowledge economy
