Petition Action

Negotiate a Brexit with UK open to EU immigration.

Petition Details

51% voted to leave the EU. This does not mean a majority are against immigration. If you are to negotiate a Brexit based on closed borders you should first ask people to vote on whether they want less EU immigration as part of the deal. Please base your negotiations on fact and not on assumptions.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
