FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AGREEMENT REACHED IN IRELAND IN 1998
That the present Government for the British move to full implementation of what is described in the Agreement named above as “the harmonious and mutually beneficial development of the totality of the relationships among the peoples of these islands.” In effect what this means is that the present Government for the British provide a mechanism by means of which to reconcile the valid and entirely legitimate desires of the majority in Ireland for a United Country with the no less valid or legitimate desires of the minority for the maintenance of a Union of some sort between and within the islands. Such a Mechanism now exists. It is to be found in other Petitions that have been published on the Pages of the Web-Site of the Cabinet Office and the Department of Culture.
