Make the TV License opt-outable
With so many television and radio options available these days through both tradition terrestrial channels and now the internet I find it astonishing that we are still required to pay for the upkeep of the BBC through a licensing scheme which essentially amounts to little more than a tax to anyone not interested in their output.
I believe the tv licensing system is well over-due for a rethink.
Why should you have to pay for programming you may never choose to watch?
