removal of traffic commissioners powers to suspend, revoke driving licences
when you get an offence like an TS10 and after you have paid the fixed penalty and received the points, you are called up to the traffic commissioner nearly 3 years after the fact and she decides to suspend your licence while under a high court ruling this can only happen for a maximum of 21 days.
the traffic has suspended licences for 22 years according to DVLA they have had letters from VOSA through the traffic commissioner to suspend a licence until the holder is 70 years of age under current law this can only be done for a maximum of 21 day through a high court ruling or 12 month through the totting up of more that 12 penalty points
