Change Religious Education to Religious and Cultural Studies

Petition Details

Students should be taught more than just basic religious principles. Teaching children about other races and cultures will help stamp out racism in our ever-progressing and diverse society.

Additional Information

Some of the biggest cities in the UK (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff) are among the most diverse in Europe. Our youth should be accepting of their peers whatever their heritage, especially in the wake of Brexit and the rising level of hate crime.
