Change Blackpool promenades zebra crossings into light controlled crossings
As a resident of Blackpool travelling along the Promenade is a daily frustration as the crossings are zebra crossings not light controlled which I feel they need to be.
The delays passed Cocker Square are mainly caused by the two zebra crossings due to pedestrians constantly stopping traffic to cross. If the zebra crossings were changed to linked light controlled it would help with the build up yet still allow pedestrians to cross safely.
