Allow Ocular Melanoma sufferers in Scotland to receive abdominal MRI Scans
I suffer from Ocular Melanoma and am at risk of metastasis to my liver. NHS Scotland refuse to provide enhanced abdominal MRI scans they only give abdominal ultrasound which does not detect spread soon. There is no treatment for liver cancer but if found quickly life prolonging drugs can be given.
Ocumeluk is the one and only charity for Ocular Melanoma sufferers and they also believe MRI scans are vital.
