Stop putting people with a diagnosis of disability/illness through assessments
People with diagnosed disabilities or illnesses, are being put through humiliating and stressful assessments for Personal Independence Payment and ESA, this is causing distress on the genuinely sick and disabled, being forced to go through lengthy appeals and court despite professional diagnosis.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. You could start a new petition calling on the DWP to use existing medical assessments or diagnoses, rather than additional assessments, to make its decisions about whether people can receive PIP and ESA.
