Disallow M.P.s working for firms who have successfully lobbied them as ministers

Petition Details

M.P.s should not profit from their time in office, consorting with firms who lobby them. offering jobs after they leave office, for being compliant with their requests.

Additional Information

Too many M.P.s from the last government and the previous one who held high office went on after losing their seats to take up posts with the very people who had been lobbying them for lucrative contracts. The health service, television,the eco industry to name a few. M.P.s should be in office to serve the people not feather their nests for the future.
