Make a law allowing the allocation of unsold housing to affordable rental sector
Make a law so new builds and unoccupied housing are devalued if left unsold within 18 months. Or see these properties allocated to the renting sector for 18 months if not sold for the same period of time.
If a house has not been sold after 12 months from completion property would be devalued by 25% year 1 , further 15% year 2 , further 10% year 3 , then 5% from that moment on until sold. Estate agents can rent out these properties during this period in a property guardian style agreement with these pricing guidelines: * single room £250pm , double room £400pm , 1 bed flat £600-700 , Family house £1000 ( NO DEPOSIT , NO SUBLETTING , NO ROOM SHARING , UK TAX PAYERS ONLY,
