Make it a legal requirement for businesses to reply to applicants and those who have been for interview
It is soul destroying for those who have applied for a job, through legitimate channels to not even be acknowledged. In an age where e-mail is the norm it is plain ignorant for a potential employer not to acknowledge the application, or to give a result of an application or interview.
It should be a legal requirement for potential employers to acknowledge the application and the result of the interview.
