Road Building
Roads are the life blood of our leisure, access to emergency services, our jobs and virtually every industry there is: trying to reduce congestion by discouraging road use is "throwing the baby out with the bath water". The only acceptable solution to the pernicious problem of modern congestion is to build many more roads - perhaps slowly as a decades-long programme to make it affordable in the age of austerity.
