Petition Action

We only want MP's that voted leave to negotiate our exit from the EU.

Petition Details

The people of the United Kingdom gave a mandate to the government on June 24th to leave the EU. They did not give a mandate for Remain including those Remain MP's to negotiate their terms to exit. Those voting Remain lost their argument on June 24th 2016. They have no rights to the negotiations.

Additional Information

Example: The Conservatives won the last election and if the Remain MP supporters have the right to negotiate our exit from the EU then all the other political parties have a right to negotiate the content of the Conservative parties manifesto from the last election.

In short democracy in this country stays with the winners mandate and not the losers. It's not down to the Remain supporters or their MP's to set the terms of exiting the EU as there would be a conflict of interest.
