Cap MP expenses below their salary, with no family allowed on expenses.
In the current climate of cutting benefits, MPs are still able to claim expenses that are sometimes greater than their salary, paying family members generous salaries. As they had a far greater pay rise than any other public sector employee they should set a better example of cutting back.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
