Petition Action

Stricter laws on Knife Crime to reduce the horrific deaths of young people.

Petition Details

216 deaths related to knife crime in London in 2016 alone with 9,000 reported incidents taking place in London this year. Not enough action has taken place to stop this.I believe tightening laws situated around knife crime could save lives making it harder for young people to gain
access to Knives.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly how you would like the laws on knife crime to be changed.
