Genuinely consider euthanasia to ensure dignity and choice at the end of life!!!
After supporting my mum for the last 17 months through small cell lung cancer and witnessing the suffering and struggle that she endured right until the end (10th November 2016) I truly believe there IS a place for human euthanasia in the end of life care pathways. We don't let animals suffer!!!
I have worked in the care field for many years and time after time I have seen with my own eyes the suffering that people go through at the end of life, no matter how many medications are pumped into the persons body they still suffer an undignified death.
As a country, the U.K. Needs to follow the lead of Netherlands, Belgium, Colombia, and Luxembourg to ensure that people have a choice at the end of life not to die without dignity!!
Animals are given this dignity above humans and it's wrong!
