Give long term partners the same inheritance rights as a spouse

Petition Details

I lost my partner of 25 years, we owned a home and a business together. When he died without leaving a will I had to buy his share of our business, home and buy all of his belongings at the full market value from his only son. I was not financially dependent on him and therefore had no entitlement.
