Allow landowners and LAs to immediately remove unauthorized traveler encampments
The powers landowners and local authorities currently have to remove unauthorised encampments are weak. Trespass is not a criminal offence but a civil matter, and the requirements of s.61 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 are weak and vague.
