Free paper billing on all essential bills for elderly consumers.
Not many elderly people would know how to use the internet to obtain electronic bills.
My Parents are in there 70s and don't know how to use the internet, yet they like the idea of saving money, hence email billing. They assume all bills are correct, until one day I have helped them checked through their bills, we realised they were charged for something that they wouldn't have used or needed.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
If you would like Parliament to change the law, to require all companies to offer free paper billing for all customers above a certain age, you could start a petition asking for that.
