Harsher punishments and severe consequences for bullying
Imagine waking up each day with dread and fear. Knowing that when you go to school, college or work, you'll be faced with the same torment, the same torment you had to deal with the day before. Now imagine this is your son, your daughter, your friend.
1.5 million young people have been affected by bullying in the past year, 145,800 young people are bullied EVERYDAY. This causes mental issues like anxiety and depression, even suicide. Suicide is the 3rd cause of death among young people. Which is why we want the government to give out harder punishments to those who bully others, those who think it's okay to make someone feel like they aren't good enough. Please sign this petition and hopefully we can change this and help those suffering.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do to tackle bullying.
