House of Lords reform

Additional Information

Should the House of Lords be replaced not by a nominated or elected chamber (there are enough professional politicians already) but by a Chamber selected from the electoral register in the same way as juries are? Would this not be more representative of the population at large, and more independent of party politics and special interests?
