UK should vote against Palestinian State in UN 23/09/11
The UN is due to be presented with a proposal by the Palestinians for a unilateral vote to create a State in the Security Council. The UK should vote against this as it places Israel in an impossible position to negotiate safe borders for its people, both Arab and Israeli.
The UK at the very least should maintain a position whereby the Palestinian Authorities are encouraged to return to legitimate negotiations without preconditions.
