Stop government cuts on youth engagement groups in and around Kent.
Members of Switch Youth Cafe in Maidstone, Kent, were absolutely devestated to find out about its closure due to government cuts on youth engagement resources. Unfortunately, this problem is also faced by many other youths in and around the county.
Through less money being provided to youth education and support groups, many are troubled to find funding for their support and are faced with the prospect of having to close their doors to their young people leaving them with nowhere to go for support or simply to socialise.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Local youth services are the responsibility of local councils, not the UK Government or Parliament. To find out more about funding from Kent County Council, you can click on the link below:

If you would like the UK Government to provide local councils with more funding for youth services, you could start a petition about that.
