MPs who claim false expenses should be kicked out of their party and Parliament.

Petition Details

Claiming for any expenses which you have not had is simply fraud. Taxpayers should not be expected to pay claims for false expenses, under any circumstances.

Evidence. Case against "The Right Honourable" David Morris claiming for expenses he did not have is in all the leading newspapers this morning.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise.

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
