Petition Details

Reseller ticket websites have been investigated before to see how legit their business is and clear show they are no more than glorified ticket touts which are already illegal. They were billed as sites for fans to 'resell' tickets if they could not go, presumably in order to sound less like a tout.

Additional Information

If you go on to purchase concert tickets as a fan, the second they go on sale you cannot get them yet they are already available on the resellers. How is this possible? The programme that looked into this a few years ago, clearly showed the people who work for these sites with books or credit cards ready to purchase the tickets to then sell for massively inflated prices.
