Do not open up marriage to same sex couples
The government is proposing to consult on the legalisation of same sex marriage. Since marriage is a religious institution, any attempt to force a religious institution to conduct same sex marriage would amount to religious intolerance.
Same sex marriage should remain illegal, with the right to civil partnership remaining as a compromise.
