Petition Action

To reinstate cannabis to class C under the misuse of drugs act 1971.

Petition Details

The current classification is a joke, weed is more common than alcohol growing up. Everyone tries it at a stupid age mainly due to the ease of acquiring it. Smoking weed shouldn't cause anxieties or paranoia of authority, the apparent side affects are only induced by a fear of getting caught, prison

Additional Information

The medical values of cannabis are understated, active components such as cbd are well known for treatment of anxiety disorders and mental disorders. The law is counterproductive and criminalises the young, jeopardising their future. Concerns about the young are ridiculous when you're basically handing them the drug on a silver platter, only to say the drug is harmful, yet the current law causes the most harm.

We strive for a better Britain, for the people not against. This will continue...
