Ban spraypaints and large marker pens

Our cities are being ruined by graffiti taggers armed with spraycans and large markers, these crimnals are hard to catch in the act and would take huge police resources to be caught.
The Government should ban spray cans and large markers in the UK as it will drastically reduce this vandalism and ease local government spending on clean up. legitimate spraying can be done using compressors etc.
It could also be an offence to carry such items.
