Make Local Authorities and the Government responsible for homeless people.
This year, more people will die on the streets. Some local authorities have seen fit to discriminate against homeless people and have installed pavement pikes to stop them sleeping in some areas. There are also some that have proposed fining homeless people for sleeping in some places.
In the below links, you can see the sort of measures put in place to stop homeless people sleeping in certain places. I Propose that Local Authorities and the government should have a duty of care and be held responsible for all homeless people across the UK; Including street homeless and all other kinds of homeless people.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. The law already requires local housing authorities to ensure that advice and information about homelessness, and preventing homelessness, is available to
everyone in their district free of charge. The law also requires authorities to assist individuals and families who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and who apply for help. You can find out more about this here:

You could start a new petition explaining what you would like to change.
