Make the Sex Offenders Register UK, public knowledge.

Petition Details

As a parent wanting to protect my children, I feel it should be our right to keep our children safe, and know the whereabouts of every local Sex Offender.

Sex Offenders are given far to much privacy & anonymity, meaning our children are put at unnecessary risk.

Additional Information

According to gov.uk
Police recorded crime figures showed an increase of 41% in all sexual offences for the year ending June 2015 compared with the previous year (up from 67,880 to 95,482). This is the highest level recorded, and the largest annual percentage increase, since the introduction of the National Crime Recording Standard (NCRS) in April 2002. Increases in recorded offences against both adults and children have contributed to this rise.
