Stop adding tallow to the new £5 notes
According to a recent tweet from the Bank of England the new polymer £5 notes contain 'trace' amounts of tallow (rendered animal fat). As it is 2016 and technology has advanced further than using tallow in polymer this is not necessary.
Many people have rightfully expressed outrage as they don't believe currency that they have to use should be made of something that goes against their personal values when it can so easily be made not to.
