Stop using animal fat in currency

Petition Details

The new £5 note has been confirmed to contain animal fat. This is not only a problem for vegetarian and vegans but also unacceptable to Hindus, Sikhs and others.

The use of animal fat in currency is unnecessary and going forward, there should be an alternative solution.
