Energy suppliers to scrap standing charges
With more people struggling to make ends meet and having to make the choice to stay warm or eat energy suppliers should scrap the daily standing charges applied to bills saving it's customers on average £50 per quarter. Companies are just making bigger profits with we all struggle.
Let's all pull together to get these charges scrapped for good.

At the moment, this would be a decision for energy companies to make. You could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law to ban daily standing charges, if that's what you want to happen.
