Include a flower graphic to new meat-free fiver (£5) once they are available.

Petition Details

It has been established that the new £5 polymer banknotes include a small quantity of animal derived tallow. Once tallow-free notes can be made the problem will not be solved for years if the new notes are not easily identifiable.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Bank notes are the responsibility of the Bank of England, which is independent of the Government and Parliament.

You could start a new petition asking the Government to urge the Bank of England to take this action.
