Ban the use of wild animals in circuses
Housing is too small, inhibits natural behaviours and lacks enrichment (1). Training involves pain and fear.
Mental disorders and physical disorders arise:
Hyper-aggression
Self-mutilation
Decreased immune function
Ulcerative gastritis (2)
A proposed ban gathered ~95% public support (3).
